Daria Olegnova Antipina was born on September 27, 1977 in the Sizrani Kuibishevskoi region. From 1983 to 1987 she studied in the art studio of N. V. Nagibin, Ufa, Honored Artist of the USSR. From 1987 to 1990 she studied in an art school in Pereslavli. From 1992 to 1995 she studied in the artistic ceramics department of the Abrantsev Art School under V. M. Vasnetsov. In 1995 she began her studies in “machine-tool arts” at the Repin Academy of Art in St. Petersburg under the supervision of professor Sergei Kichko. In 1996 she won third prize in the USSR exhibition ‘Children and World War II.’ In 1998 she took third place in the contest ‘240 Years of the Academy of Arts’ for her painting “The Last Days of Autumn.” She also received a laureate prize for a painting “Waiting for Spring” in St. Petersburg. She has been a member of the International Federation of Artists since 1998 and is also a member of the Professional Creative Union of Artists in Russia.
