Kostyantin Ivanovich Pokulity was born August 19, 1934 in the city of Dnipropetrovsk on the Dnepr River, Ukraine. He studied at the Art Institute of Kiev in 1965 under masters I. Shtilman, V. Kostetsky, and L. Vitkovsky. He became a member of the National Urainian Artists’ Union in 1970. He became a Merited Artist of the Ukraine in 1980.
