Anatoli Petrovich Klimov was born on September 6, 1936 in Novoselki, Kursk Region of Russia. He studied at the Dnepropetrovsk Art College from 1957 to 1962. He taught at the Vladimir-Volynsky Teacher-Training College from 1962 to 1964. He began exhibiting his works in 1966. He currently lives and works in Lutsk, Ukraine.
