Lev Pavlovich Khodchenko was born in 1912 in Shymanivka, in the Odessa Region of the Ukraine. He studied at the Kharkov Art Institute from 1930 to 1934 and then at the Kiev Art Institute from 1934 to 1939. Important shows include: 'All-Union Art Exhibition', Moscow; 1950. He lives and works in Kiev, Ukraine.
